Hello everyone! My name is Ameet Singh; I own and operate Steel Blade Barbershop in Livermore, CA. Born and raised in Fairfield, California, I first picked up a pair of clippers in the 11th grade. It was in high school that I found my love for barbering. While pursuing barber college and further getting my license, I also attended SJSU, where I received a bachelor’s degree in business management.

Owning a business is something that I have always wanted to pursue since a young age, and I am grateful that my dream has come to fruition. I aim to provide excellent customer service and tailor my services to the clients needs. Continuous improvement and goal setting are major keys I have set into my life, and I am excited to see what the future holds. I look forward to seeing you in my chair!

My name is Tlacaeleltzin Hernandez but go by Tlaca for short. I’m the newest addition to the Steel Blade Barbershop team and happy to be here. I’ve been cutting hair for 8 years now, mastering all hair types and hair textures and have a deep love for the craft. Initially what got me interested in the craft was when I started getting haircut at 16 years old. Before then I had really long hair due to my Native American traditions and never had a haircut in my life. Going to the barbershop became a part of my life and what ultimately made me fall in love with the craft. That feeling of a barbershop of where you can come in, feel comfortable, let out some stress, and getting your confidence back all while having a good laugh is what I strive to provide to everyone that sits in my chair. Barbering pays me in ways that money can’t. I look forward to getting to know you and helping you look your best for the years to come here at Steel Blade Barbershop!

I have been cutting hair for about a year and became a licensed barber this June. I appreciate modern and longer hair styles but love cutting every style and texture. Born and raised right here in Livermore, my family has deep roots in the community; from Sands Motel to the Donut Wheel. My love for this city runs deep, and it shows in the way I connect with every client.
